Longview ISD Invites Partners to Expand Learning Opportunities

Longview ISD is seeking qualified organizations to lead in-district charter schools beginning in the 2027–28 school year, with opportunities focused on career education and early childhood learning.

Through its Annual Call for Quality Schools, the district invites organizations to submit competitive proposals that support student success and give families more educational choices. Interested organizations can review the requirements and application timelines here:

The application process is open and transparent, with published requirements and timelines to help organizations prepare their proposals and keep the community informed. Public notices are scheduled to appear on the district website, in the Longview News-Journal, and through the Texas Education Agency beginning Sept. 25.

As a district of choice, Longview ISD is committed to helping every student find a path to success. These partnerships will support the district’s strategic goals by expanding learning opportunities, strengthening student outcomes, and connecting families with programs that meet their children’s needs.
