Moving On Up
Ware Elementary worked hard and went from a C rated campus to an A. This is the kind of campus that sees all children and works hard for them.
Wareโs biggest proof point is its move from a C rating to an A. That growth reflects the hard work of students, teachers, staff, and families working together toward a shared goal. It also shows that Ware is not just focused on improvement, but on creating lasting academic success for every student.
Ware staff are visible, greet students by name, check in throughout the day, and keep an open-door approach when students need help.
At Ware, if we see that your child needs extra help, we do not wait for them to fall further behind. Our teachers, instructional aides, and support staff work together through small groups, classroom support, special education inclusion, resource services, after-school tutorials, and daytime interventions so each student gets the help they need in the way that works best for them.
We are the only elementary campus in the area that uses the Ron Clark House System, which gives grades 3-5 a structured way to build accountability, teamwork, pride, and relationships across grade levels.
Ware offers art, music, library, computer lab, STEAM, 4-H, UIL, choir options, PE Club, Student Council, community service, and career speakers.
Ware hosts National Night Out for the Garfield Block, partners with LCDC on campus, works with PTA, Boys & Girls Club, churches, Junior League, Horace Mann, and other community groups.
Families choose Ware because it combines proven academic growth with a campus culture where students are known, supported, and held to high expectations. From its C-to-A growth story to small-group support, dual language classes, student leadership, and the Ron Clark House System, Ware gives students both the structure and encouragement they need to succeed. It is a place where students are challenged, celebrated, and prepared to grow as learners and leaders.
Students in grades 2-5 can compete in events such as spelling, music memory, art, chess, storytelling, and dictionary skills.
Students experience hands-on creativity through STEAM, technology, and problem-solving activities.
Students explore gardening, archery, livestock, and chick-hatching through 4-H partnerships.
Ware offers regular choir, bell choir, recorder choir, art, music, library, and weekly book checkout.
Students know adults are visible, available, and ready to listen when they need help.

At Ware, students are not just another face in the hallway; they are greeted by name, checked on by caring adults, and surrounded by staff who notice when they need encouragement, support, or a little extra help.
Families can feel confident that Ware takes care of the whole child, building a campus culture where students feel safe, seen, valued, and ready to learn.
