How Admissions Works ✅
Hudson PEP is a School of Choice serving students in grades 1–5 through a testing-based admissions process. This ensures classrooms are filled with students who are ready to engage and succeed in an accelerated learning environment. Placement testing is required only for out-of-district students. Current Longview ISD students are already assessed during the school year.
Transportation is provided for in-district students.

About Us
Students enter Hudson PEP through an application and testing process. This ensures classrooms are filled with students who are ready to learn, stay engaged, and thrive in an accelerated environment. We serve grades 1-5 both in and out-of-district families.
School of Choice
Applications
Out-of-district families must sign up to test for eligibility. In-district families are automatically tested. Students complete a district-approved academic assessment to determine placement.
Placement Testing
Required
Families are notified as early as possible so they can plan with confidence. While not every applicant may be offered a spot, all students are encouraged to apply, and many families test in successfully each year.

Hudson PEP is unique among elementary Schools of Choice by offering transportation. In-district students receive morning shuttle service and afternoon bus drop-off. Out-of-district families provide their own transportation.
