Longview ISD is inviting teachers, families, and community members to help shape the future of public education in Longview through a series of Strategic Plan Feedback Sessions scheduled for Tuesday, May 13 at Forest Park Middle School.

As part of the development of Longview ISDโ€™s new 2030 Strategic Plan, district leaders are hosting two public engagement meetings to gather feedback on draft goals that will guide students, staff, and programs over the next five years.

Sessions are scheduled as follows:
๐Ÿ•” 5:00 to 6:00 p.m. โ€“ LISD Teachers & Staff
๐Ÿ•ก 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. โ€“ Students/Families & Community
๐Ÿ“ Forest Park Middle (Library), 1644 N. Eastman Rd.
๐Ÿช Light refreshments will be provided.

These meetings will provide attendees a chance to review and react to the districtโ€™s working goals, offer insights into what may be missing, and suggest ways to strengthen the plan before it is finalized.

โ€œIt's more than a presentationโ€”itโ€™s a conversation,โ€ said Mr. Matthew Prosser, Chief of Strategic Initiatives & Special Projects.

โ€œWe want to hear directly from those we serve to make sure the plan reflects the real hopes and needs of our community.โ€

The districtโ€™s current draft plan and more information about the strategic planning process are available at LISD.org/elevate2030
