Samaya Butler is Red Raider bound! She will be attending Texas Tech University to study Animal Science after graduation. We are so proud of her dedication and canโt wait to see her thrive in this next chapter. Wreck 'Em Tech!

Darryl Dolly is headed for an incredible future! After graduation, he will be entering the United States Army. We are proud of his bravery and commitment to serving our country. Best of luck as you begin this new chapter, Darryl!

Today, Longview High Schoolโs CATE Department proudly hosted a Career Fair for our seniors! Students had the opportunity to explore a variety of careers, learn about college programs, and connect directly with local businesses and industry professionals as they prepare to take their next steps after graduation.
As our students get ready to graduate and enter the workforce, experiences like this are invaluable. Thank you to all of the organizations who took time to interact with our students: Texas State Technical College, Storer Services, Holt CAT, Workforce Solutions East Texas, OโReillys Automotive, US Army, US Navy, Tulsa Welding School, Eastman, Longview Regional Emergency Center, Komatsu, Pipeline Union 798, Peterโs Chevrolet, ABC Supply, City of Longview Water Purification Division, and well as various Kilgore College programs including Sonography, Health Science Workforce Development, Welding, Education Works, Process Technology, Automotive Technology, and Career Services.
As our students get ready to graduate and enter the workforce, experiences like this are invaluable. ๐ Ari Collins, Longview High School senior, was named April Student of the Month. He plans to attend LeTourneau University as a student-athlete, majoring in mechanical engineering and continuing his soccer career.
๐ Lily Danielson, Longview High School senior, was named May Student of the Month. She plans to attend Texas A&M University, majoring in environmental studies with a minor in business.
๐ Maria Aranda, first grade teacher at Ned E. Williams Magnet STEAM Academy, was recognized as April Teacher of the Month.
