🌟 Exciting News for Longview High School Theatre! We are proud to announce that our program is an official participant in the 15th Annual Broadway Dallas High School Musical Theatre Awards (HSMTA)! 🌟
🎭 On November 22nd, our production of The SpongeBob Musical will be attended by Broadway Dallas HSMTA adjudicators! They’ll be here to evaluate and celebrate the incredible work of our students, both on stage and behind the scenes.
🎓💡 Not only will this give our kids a chance to showcase their talents and connect with a larger theatre community, but the HSMTA also awards college scholarships, a life-changing opportunity for many of our young artists. We couldn’t be prouder of the growth of our program, and we’re thrilled to give our students, like our very own SpongeBob, Krabs, and Pearl, a platform where their creativity, voices, and artistry can shine. ✨

As we close out the first six weeks of school, we are incredibly proud of the hard work and dedication shown by our students, staff, and families. The start of this year has already been filled with learning, growth, and exciting accomplishments.
The first edition of our parent newsletter is attached. Please take a few moments to review it for important updates and information.
We also encourage you to review your student’s progress in Skyward and talk with them about their goals for the next grading period. By working together, we can ensure every student stays on track for success.
Thank you for your continued partnership and support. Our LOBO community is stronger because of you! 💚🐺
With appreciation,
The LHS Administrative Team
