Weather Update 🌨️ All campuses and offices are CLOSED Monday, January 26. We will reassess conditions and share an update following our Emergency Weather Procedures as seen here: https://www.longviewisd.com/page/emergency-weather-procedures

We’re excited to partner with Texas Workforce Solutions to host a Parent Information Meeting focused on supporting students who qualify for Special Education or 504 services. This meeting will highlight transition services, employment resources, and post-secondary supports available to help students prepare for life after high school.
Please see the attached flyer for full details. We hope you can join us!

Weather Update 🔎🌨️❄️ We are monitoring upcoming weather conditions for this weekend and any potential impacts to school operations next week. If a delay, early release, or closure becomes necessary, we will communicate as early as possible through phone/text/email, the Longview ISD app, our website, and Facebook.
Want to know how weather decisions are made? Our Emergency Weather Procedures page explains the process and what we consider:

✅ Reminder: Please make sure your contact information is up to date with your child’s campus so you receive alerts.

You are invited to join us for our upcoming Campus Improvement Plan (CIP) meeting. This meeting provides an opportunity to collaborate, share input, and support our continued efforts to improve student achievement and campus success.
Please note, this meeting is not a discussion about the use of bond funds. The focus will be on planning and decisions related to school federal funds and campus improvement priorities.
To help accommodate stakeholders’ busy schedules, we are offering two meeting options:
January 27 at 9:30 a.m.
January 28 at 5:00 p.m.
Both meetings will be held in the LHS Library.
We value your voice and hope you will attend as we work together to strengthen our school community.
Thank you for your continued support of LHS.

As we close out the 3rd six weeks and bring the first semester of the school year to an end, we want to take a moment to recognize the hard work and growth shown by our students, staff, and families. This grading period marked an important transition point as students completed semester coursework and prepared to begin the second half of the year.
Attached, you will find our parent newsletter, which highlights accomplishments from the 3rd six weeks and provides important information regarding upcoming spring dates, campus events, and expectations as we begin the second semester. We encourage you to review the newsletter carefully, check your student’s progress in Skyward, and have conversations with them about goals for continued success moving forward.
Your partnership plays a critical role in helping our students stay focused, supported, and prepared as we enter the new semester. Together, we can ensure a strong finish to the school year.
Thank you for your continued support of our campus and our students. Our Lobo community is stronger because of you! 💚🐺
Go Lobos!
