Longview ISD Esports made a big statement this past weekend at The OC in Forney, where college recruiters from across Texas gathered to scout rising talent.
👏 Longview High School standout Cohen Hardish dominated the Super Smash Brothers bracket, finishing Top 5 out of 124 competitors — an incredible achievement on a major stage!
🚀 Forest Park Middle School’s Rocket League squad — Jose Sifuentes, Hugo Robles, and Byron Rodriguez — powered through a tough bracket to earn an impressive 3rd place finish, proving that the future of Longview Esports is bright.
This event marks another milestone in the growth of our esports program and Longview ISD’s commitment to creating opportunities in competition, teamwork, and pathways into college-level gaming and digital media.

Fall picture day is next Thursday, November 20! These portraits will be used in the 25-26 yearbook. Students will need to have on their school uniform for pictures, NO FREE DRESS. The photographers will begin with 6th grade at 7:30.

The Greater East Texas College Night will be Tuesday, November 4, from 6:00 to 7:30 p.m. at Maude Cobb Convention Center.
This event is a great opportunity for students in middle school to begin exploring various college options, meet admissions representatives, and gather helpful information as they plan for their future.
Colleges and universities from across Texas and the nation will be there!
