🦃🍂 Thanksgiving Break is Almost Here! 🍂🦃
There will be no school next week as we celebrate Thanksgiving Break. We are so thankful for our amazing students, staff, and families — your hard work, kindness, and dedication make our school community shine.

Longview ISD Esports made a big statement this past weekend at The OC in Forney, where college recruiters from across Texas gathered to scout rising talent.
👏 Longview High School standout Cohen Hardish dominated the Super Smash Brothers bracket, finishing Top 5 out of 124 competitors — an incredible achievement on a major stage!
🚀 Forest Park Middle School’s Rocket League squad — Jose Sifuentes, Hugo Robles, and Byron Rodriguez — powered through a tough bracket to earn an impressive 3rd place finish, proving that the future of Longview Esports is bright.
This event marks another milestone in the growth of our esports program and Longview ISD’s commitment to creating opportunities in competition, teamwork, and pathways into college-level gaming and digital media.

Forest Park Middle School yearbooks are available for $30. There are three ways to purchase: scan the QR code, visit Balfour.com and search for our school, or visit Mrs. McDaniel in room 106 for in-person ordering. Reserve yours now before they sell out!

Fall picture day is next Thursday, November 20! These portraits will be used in the 25-26 yearbook. Students will need to have on their school uniform for pictures, NO FREE DRESS. The photographers will begin with 6th grade at 7:30.

By supporting this fundraiser, you will help the Longview ISD Foundation, Inc. return even more money to LISD classrooms and campuses. To date, the Foundation has returned $1,140,000 to enhance educational opportunities for all students.

Mark your calendar for the Greater East Texas College Night! The Greater East Texas College Night will be Tuesday, November 4, from 6:00 to 7:30 p.m. at Maude Cobb Convention Center. This event is a great opportunity for students in middle school to begin exploring various college options, meet admissions representatives, and gather helpful information as they plan for their future. Colleges and universities from across Texas and the nation will be there!
