Eighth grade students from Forest Park attended the 8th Grade Engineer Day at LeTourneau University recently. This event was organized by engineers from Eastman Chemical Company. This is an annual event where engineers from Eastman share their knowledge about various fields of engineering to our eighth grade students who may find engineering as a career choice. The students had the opportunity to listen to Chemical, Civil, Electrical, and Mechanical Engineers. There were several workshops where they got to interact with a wind tunnel, build spaghetti bridges, observe chemical reactions, and use 3D software to design a Tesla Truck!!๐ฅณ๐ฅณ

There are limited spots on this trip, so we would love to have you attend this meeting to learn more about this exciting opportunity!

Your kindness and commitment to supporting our students will make a significant impact on their well-being, and we are deeply grateful.
