As we prepare for the upcoming school year, please take a moment to log in and complete the Socioeconomic Form as part of your child’s registration.
Per district policy, students will not be placed in a classroom until all parts of the registration process are complete. Please make sure you have completed every required section as soon as possible.

Great news, Hudson PEP families! To make your back-to-school preparation as easy as possible, Hudson PEP Elementary is covering almost ALL student school supplies this year! 📚✨ (Yep—pencils, paper, crayons, glue, markers, and more are completely taken care of!)
There are only THREE items families need to provide for their students:
1️⃣ Student Planner ($10): Available for purchase directly from the PTO at Meet the Teacher!
2️⃣ Wired Headphones: Must be a wired connection (no Bluetooth, please!). A protective case is highly recommended.
3️⃣ 1-Inch Notebook/Binder: Must have interior pockets.

Our 5th graders brought the energy, teamwork, and school spirit to this year’s Longview ISD 5th Grade Olympics! From relay races to fun challenges, students showed determination, sportsmanship, and plenty of campus pride all day long.

For the month of December, our campus will be focusing on the theme: “Giving is Better Than Receiving.” 💙🐾
To help our students experience the joy of generosity, every child has the opportunity to earn ONE Free Dress Pass to use any day in December. Students may earn this pass by choosing one of the following donation options: Donations can begin being collected December 1st.

Students may bring NEW uniform items to support our campus closet.
We especially need:
Shirts, shorts, pants, and jackets (new only)
NEW packages of underwear
NEW packages of socks
✏️ Option 2: Donate School Supplies for La Mansión Primary School (Honduras)
This is our second year partnering with this wonderful school community, and our students’ generosity made a huge difference last year.

We have a few important reminders for this week:
🎖 4th Grade Veterans Day Program
The program will be held this Thursday, November 13.
Arrival: Students should arrive at 6:00 PM in program attire or costume and report to Mrs. Vermillion’s music room.
Start Time: The program begins promptly at 6:30 PM.
If you have any questions about what your child should wear, please text through Rooms, email Mrs. Vermillion, or refer to her previous communications for clothing details.
Our fourth graders have been working so hard, and you’re in for a real treat—this is a program you won’t want to miss! 🇺🇸
📸 Picture Retakes & 5th Grade Composite
Tomorrow is Picture Retake Day and the 5th Grade Composite photo.
We’re asking all 5th graders to wear a red polo for the pictures.

Dear Panther Families,
We are already in the swing of things for the second six weeks! Thank you for making the first six weeks such a strong and successful start. Your partnership truly makes a difference.
🎟️ October Attendance Incentive
Every day in October, classes with every student present, on time, and not absent will earn a pawprint. Once a class collects 10 pawprints, they will celebrate with a popcorn party hosted by the principals!
📸 Picture Day – Tomorrow
Reminder that tomorrow is Picture Day. Students need to wear their school uniforms.
📚 Book Buddy School Store Fundraiser
A big thank you to everyone who has supported our Book Buddy School Store fundraiser! All money raised goes directly back to classroom teachers to purchase supplies and books for their students.
🎡 PTO Fall Fest – October 17th
Mark your calendars! Our Fall Fest will be on Friday, October 17th. All proceeds go directly to PTO to support students and teachers.
➡️ Note: To help spread out fundraisers, we will launch our Hudson PEP Coupon Cards after Fall Fest. More information will come home soon.
