Good Afternoon LHS Family!
Monday, June 2nd, our Summer Programs will begin at LHS! Students are able to eat breakfast in the cafeteria at 7:30 am., and lunch at 12:00 p.m. We will meet promptly in the Little Theater Monday morning at 7:45 a.m. to discuss student expectations, and an introduction for our incoming freshmen who are taking TSI Prep. If you havenโt had an opportunity to register your student for our program, you can utilize the QR code on the shared flyer or when you arrive Monday morning.

Dear Parents,
We would like to invite you to our Campus Improvement Plan Meeting, which will be held on the following dates:
Tuesday, June 3rd at 9:30 AM
Wednesday, June 4th at 4:00 PM
Both meetings will take place in the school library.
Please note: This meeting is not related to bond-funded renovations. The focus will be on our ongoing efforts to improve academic programs, student support services, and overall campus operations.
We value your input and hope to see you there!


This past weekend, 15 members of the Lobo Choir competed in the State UIL Solo & Ensemble Contest. These talented students brought home 5 gold medals and 4 silver medals. Congratulations to all on their outstanding achievements!

Longview Independent School District is deeply saddened to share that Colleen Cleaver, a beloved 11th-grade student at Longview High School, passed away on Saturday, May 3, 2025. She was just 17 years old.
"We are deeply saddened to learn of the passing of Colleen Cleaver, a student at Longview High School. On behalf of Longview ISD, I extend our heartfelt condolences to Colleenโs family, friends, and the educators who supported her. During this difficult time our thoughts are with all who knew and loved Colleen."
Counseling and support services are available for our students and staff.
Out of respect for the familyโs privacy, Longview ISD will not share further details at this time. We will provide information about funeral/memorial arrangements as they become available, in accordance with the familyโs wishes.
We extend our deepest condolences to the Colleenโs family and friends during this time of immense grief.

Community in Schools at LHS will host its 3rd Annual HBCU College Event and Black History Program on February 28, 2025 in the Lobo Coliseum. Our goal is to allow our students to gain knowledge and have a meaningful experience. Go Lobos!!
