📢 Attention Foster Middle School Families!📢 As we gear up for the 2026–2027 school year, please take a moment to review our updated Dress Code guidelines. We want to make sure everyone is set up for success on day one! Please note a few MAJOR UPDATES for this upcoming school year: 👟 Footwear: All students must wear a full shoe with a *fully enclosed back*. Crocs, slides, flip-flops, house slippers, and Ugg slippers (including the Tasman and Tazz styles) are strictly prohibited. 🧥 Hoodies: Students may wear any Foster or Lobo hoodie, but **hoods are strictly prohibited from being worn up inside the school building.** 📏 Bottoms Length: All shorts, skirts, and dresses must be no more than 3" above the knee (a standard dollar bill oriented sideways can be used to easily verify this length). ⚠️ Accountability Notice: Students will be held accountable for meeting dress code expectations daily. Failure to follow the dress code will result in disciplinary consequences. Congratulations to Katherine Carlisle, Joseph Kaan, and Jontavion Tennison for earning 2nd Place in the Nation in Leadership Strategies at the Technology Student Association (TSA) National Conference in Washington, D.C.!

Competing against the nation's best, these students demonstrated exceptional leadership, teamwork, and dedication to achieve this outstanding honor.

"I'm super proud of our Dragons for how they have performed this last week," said TSA Coach Jacob Jones. "I believe this was the perfect way for them to close out their middle school careers!"

We are incredibly proud of all of our Foster TSA students who competed on the national stage. Thank you for representing Foster Middle School, Longview ISD, and our community with excellence.

📊 How to Access STAAR Scores:

1. Log in to your Skyward Family Access account.
2. From the dashboard, click the “Texas Assessments” tile.
3. Click the link for the Texas Assessment Results Website.
4. You will be redirected to the state portal where you can view your child’s detailed report card.

📌 Important Notes:

* Scores were released today for available subjects.
* Science STAAR results will be released on July 31.
