Tomorrow, all FMS students will take their STAAR Reading Simulation test. We will conduct this assessment using official STAAR testing procedures, as it is more formal than our common campus assessments.
Please note the following important information:
-Any students who normally report to the high school campus must report to Foster Middle School tomorrow.
-Our campus will be closed to visitors and shut down for testing.
-Please make every effort to ensure your child arrives on time and remains at school for the entire day.
-Dress code will be strictly enforced. Blankets, pillows, Crocs, slides, and stuffed animals will not be permitted.
We ask that you emphasize the importance of this assessment with your child. The data from this simulation will help us determine any additional needs and supports for students during the remainder of the school year.
On Thursday, we will follow the same structured testing schedule for Science. Eighth grade students will take their STAAR Science Simulation, while sixth and seventh grade students will complete their middle-of-year exam.
Thank you for your continued support and partnership in helping our students succeed.
