⚡️Our fourth graders are exploring the power of electricity! This week, they investigated how electrical energy travels in a closed path and discovered the essential parts of a circuit. From lighting bulbs to creating their own working circuits, students learned firsthand how energy moves to produce light and heat! 🔋💡 #InquiryInAction #STEMLearning #FourthGradeScientists

Our 4th graders wrapped up their Native Texan tribes unit by creating digital presentations! Students showcased their learning about the Lipan Apache, Karankawa, Jumano, and Caddo tribes through research, creativity, and technology. They also practiced giving and receiving feedback by using a peer rubric to review each other’s work. We are so proud of their hard work, collaboration, and growth as learners!

Mrs. Jeans’ and Mrs. Bradley’s classes had a blast at Matterpalooza! 🎉 The students worked so hard to design creative and fun games all about matter, and they finally got to share and play them. From clever challenges to unique designs, the creativity really shined through. The best part? Watching everyone enjoy playing each other’s games and celebrating all their hard work. What a fun way to learn! 💡🎲✨

✨ Feature Friday! ✨ This week, our amazing 1st graders have been working on their detective skills—learning how to make inferences! 🕵️‍♂️📚 By looking at clues in the text and using what they already know, students practiced “reading between the lines” to figure out what the author didn’t say directly. They loved becoming little detectives and sharing their thinking with the class! We are so proud of the way they are growing as thoughtful readers. 💡❤️ #FeatureFriday #FirstGradeReaders #MakingInferences #LearningIsFun
