Dear Foster Middle School Families, As we approach the final two days of school, we are excited to celebrate an incredible year with our students while also ensuring we finish strong, safe, and focused. In order to minimize distractions and maintain a positive environment for all students, please review the important expectations below for Thursday and Friday. Backpacks Please do not allow your student to bring a backpack on Thursday or Friday unless absolutely necessary. If a student brings a backpack: - The backpack must be checked in upon arrival. - Backpacks will be securely stored by the school and returned to students at dismissal. Cell Phones Cell phones must be: - Turned OFF and kept in student pockets, OR - Turned in to the front office for safekeeping during the school day. We appreciate your partnership in helping us minimize distractions and maintain a positive learning environment. Dress Code Expectations We will continue to enforce campus dress expectations during the final days of school. Thursday & Friday Dress Expectations Students may wear: - School-appropriate jeans - Standard school uniform shirts, OR - Foster Middle School or Lobo spirit shirts OR - College or House spirit shirts Not permitted: - Pajamas - Gym/athletic wear - Clothing outside school dress expectations -Crocs, slides, backless shoes Clothing Donations As you clean out closets at the end of the year, Foster Middle School is accepting donations of gently used uniforms, Foster spirit shirts, and house shirts. These items help us keep our student clothing closet stocked and ready to support students next year. Donations can be dropped off at the front office. • 6th & 7th Grade Awards will be held during the school day and are for students and staff only due to limited seating.
• 8th Grade Awards will take place on May 20 and are invitation only.

The Upward Bound Program is currently recruiting students for our Summer Program!!
The summer program is free of charge. Students will also have the chance to meet new friends, attend empowerment workshops, and participate in cultural enrichment activities.
