Don't forget that this evening is the Boots & Beauties dance at the Foster Middle School gym! The dance will be held from 5-7 and tickets are $5. Concessions will be sold.
All students MUST be picked up at the end of the day as normal and then may come to the dance.

In honor of this event, we are having a sale on our 2026 yearbooks, today (10/8th )
and tomorrow (10/9th) only. The 2026 yearbooks will be $15 off its regular price
-- yes, you heard it correctly, for 2 days ONLY, the price will be $30.

See Ms. Stoxstell or one of the Broadcast Journalism Crew members to take advantage of this
sale. Purchases can be made in Room 073 during 3rd or 6th periods only.

🌟 A huge shoutout to our AMAZING custodial team at Foster Middle School! 🌟 From early mornings to late evenings, our custodians work tirelessly to keep our campus clean, safe, and welcoming for every student, staff member, and visitor. Their hard work and dedication often go unseen, but we want them to know just how much they are appreciated. 💙 Thank you for all you do to make Foster shine every single day—you truly are the heart of our school! 🧹✨

Students in 7th and 8th grade art at Foster explored the world of Tim Burton. Analyzing his iconic Gothic stylized art, they identified key characteristics he is known for such as the exaggerated facial features, large haunting eyes and frightfully long thin necks. Replicating his style they practiced their skills in pencil before diving into the new materials of Charcoal and Chalk Pastel. With the use of value changes to create the illusion of shadows, students challenged themselves to transform flat 2D drawings into 3D forms, tricking the viewer's eye.

Check out their hard work and fantastic creations! Their work is on display at Foster Middle School and will be viewable to visitors during the Fine Arts Show Case later in October.
