🌟 August Counselor’s Corner is here! 🌟 This month, Meet our counselor, Dr. Lacy. Take a moment to get to know the person who’s here to support our students, families, and staff throughout the year.

FMS Families: Tomorrow, students should wear their UNIFORM BOTTOMS along with their spirit shirts. We are continuing to work on positive behavior so that our scholars can earn jeans for Friday. Thank you for your support in helping them reach this goal!

In accordance with Senate Bill 12, passed during the 2025 Texas Legislative Session which takes effect on September 1, 2025, school districts must obtain written parental consent before providing school-based health-related services to students. To meet this requirement, the district asks that all guardians complete the Health Services Permission Form available in Skyward Family Access. When looking inside of Family Access, look for the following tiles. We ask that you log in and complete this form as soon as possible so our school nurses can continue to provide excellent care and support for all district students. Thank you for your prompt attention to this important matter. Please contact your campus's school nurse should you have any questions.

TSA or Technology Student Association is an organization dedicated to growing leaders in our increasingly technology driven world. With over 30 different events to compete in at the national level, TSA has something for EVERYONE! Join TSA this Thursday after school in room 401 to meet other like minded students and make lifelong friends. Foster Middle Schools TSA Chapter will host our first STUDENT meeting AFTER SCHOOL on THURSDAY August 28th from 4 to 5:30 PM in Mr. Jones' room (401). Students will need to make arrangements to be picked up (by CAR) by 5:30PM. Students may NOT walk from campus. Students please note that this is a STUDENT INTEREST MEETING. A PARENT meeting will be held the following Thursday, September 4th, at 4:30pm.

Quick reminder: Students should be in uniform bottoms today. We are working toward earning our jeans for next Friday.

Jeans are an earned privilege at FMS, and this week we’ll continue working toward that goal together. Tomorrow, we look forward to seeing our scholars show their school pride by wearing spirit shirts with their UNIFORM BOTTOMS. Thank you for encouraging them to SOAR!
